Theoretical background
======================
In very simple terms, ``harmoni-pm`` provides a framework to simulate how objects in the sky (described as intensity functions in some arbitrary system of coordinates) are detected by a CCD with a given set of parameters and uncertainties describing the behavior of the instrument.
